Summary of i960RP Configuration Registers

This is a summary of all the registers in the i960 that must be configured specifically to operate the ISE board. (This is not an exhaustive list of i960RP registers.) See the appropriate chapters of the User's Guide for detailed descriptions of each register.

Table 7: i960RP Configuration Registers

NOTE 1: It is recommended that all the PMCON registers contain 0x00800000, except PMCON14_15, which must be 0x00 due to the flash device connected to it.

NOTE 2: The various base address register values are recommended, and Picture Elements software uses the indicated values, but they are not strictly required by the hardware.

NOTE 3: The interrupt control settings and priority mappings are not required by hardware design, but Picture Elements supplied software configures and uses these settings.
